Our annual Diablo FC Benefit Golf Tournament is only 2 days away this Friday at Diablo Creek Golf Course, 4050 Port Chicago Highway, Concord.
Chairman Gene Dolan and his tournament committee want to thank all the Diablo FC teams who stepped up and SOLD OUT THE TOURNAMENT.
For non-golfers there are still tickets to the Friday evening BBQ on sale. The BBQ is at 6 p.m. right after golf adjacent to the course. Enter to right of pro shop and driving range then follow small road all the way back, across bridge to back right corner barbecue area. Wear a sweater or jacket as the sun will set while we're enjoying dinner and the raffle.
If your child (ages 6-18) wants to participate in the Free Kids Putting contest (we supply putter and ball, if needed) arrive at 5:30 p.m. Children putt at front putting green in preliminary round then proceed back to barbecue area.
Golfers arrive by 11:30 a.m. Friday. Lunch will be served after you check in.  There is a driving range if you want to hit balls. Please don't be late. Free putting contest from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. We take credit cards at registration for raffle tickets and mulligans.

Diablo FC Soccer Academy every Friday thru Nov. 6 
Our renowned Diablo FC Soccer Academy is offering a Fall Skills program every Friday afternoon through Nov. 6. The sessions run from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Boatwright Sports Complex in Concord for ages 5-10 years. The program is open to boys and girls of all skill levels from novices to those ready for competitive soccer.
The professional staff from Diablo FC is on hand to teach basic dribbling and juggling skills, passing and receiving the ball and ball striking. The emphasis is on individual player development in a fast-paced, friendly environment without pressure.
Diablo FC player siblings receive a 20% discount on the Academy fee.

Diablo FC sponsors important fund raiser at Newhall Park

The United Mt. Diablo Athletic Foundation was formed this year to generate support for the high school athletic programs in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District at Clayton Valley, College Park, Concord, Mt. Diablo, Northgate and Ygnacio Valley high schools. The biggest UMDAF fund raiser to date is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 18, 9 a.m. and Diablo FC is very proud to be the sponsor of the 5K Fun Run and Walk at Newhall Community Park in Concord. 
Get all the information about entering the Fun Run or Walk and being a sponsor. Students who get at least $25 in pledges pay no entry fee!
Diablo FC Picture Day makeup this Saturday
Opportunity for individual, family, group pictures
There is a final chance for Diablo FC teams and players to get a photo taken this Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. at Boatwright Fields in Concord.
Not only can teams get their photo taken on Saturday but TSS Photography will also take photos of individual players, groups of players or families.
