Education Technology - The Learning Paradox
|
Recent evidence indicates that electromagnetic radiation emitted from electrical devices such as computers, wireless internet, and cell phones is hazardous to human mental and physical health. As children's bodies undergo rapid rates of development, their risk of harm is great. Without knowledge or guidelines for long term student safety, elementary schools have invested heavily in use of technology as a primary learning tool. Precautionary steps must now be taken to reduce or even eliminate the use of technologies in school based settings to ensure safe and sustainable environments for young children. This article will detail up to date research regarding the harmful effects of radiation on the developing child, and profile areas of concern facing elementary school staff and administration. A "System of Solutions" will be offered to parents, schools and therapists to optimize child health and academic performance for children. Continue reading here.

Radiation Rescue An international team of experts brought together by health educator Kerry Crofton express concerns about the harmful effects of technology on this digital generation. There is clear evidence that these exposures of microwave radiation can have harmful effects including: sleep disruption, leakage of the brain's protective blood-brain barrier, cognitive impairment and the new, and troubling, phenomena of digital addiction. Dr. Hans Scheiner, a physician working with Kerry Crofton, cautions that children can become physiologically addicted to electro-magnetic radiation, the same way they can to alcohol or drugs. Website and Kerry Crofton's book Wireless Radiation Rescue focus on the health risks facing this digital generation and pose safer tech solutions.
Citizens for Safe Technology Citizens for Safe Technology Society (CST) is a not-for-profit educational society made up of Canadian and U.S. parents, grandparents, teachers, business professionals, physicians, scientists, politicians and lawyers concerned about the exponential increase in public exposures to harmful wireless technologies.
Radiation Education Great website on the effects of wireless radiation put together by an elementary student! Wireless machines are dangerous for kids because the radiation makes our cells shut down - so they can't breathe properly and they can't get rid of toxins. Then our DNA in our cells gets damaged and our cells don't work properly. After years of this harmful microwave radiation you can get leukemia or cancer. But, before you get cancer, look at these immediate results of WiFi radiation. Have you noticed that your friends have gone home early because of headaches, nausea, nosebleeds etc?
