Reminder: Renew your CPA license
Licensed CPAs in Wisconsin are encouraged to renew their licenses online by Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011. The date is when all current state licenses will expire.

Tax preparers: Renew your PTINs
The Internal Revenue Service has announced that tax preparers who have Preparer Tax Identification Numbers (PTINs) can renew their PTINs for the 2012 filing season. Preparers are required to renew their PTINs on an annual basis and need to do so before the new year.

Assembly Bill 343: Grants to technical college districts to reduce unemployment, new individual income tax upper bracket, exemption from emergency rule procedures, granting rule-making authority, and making appropriations
Senate Bill 260: Allowing members of a dairy cooperative to claim the dairy manufacturing facility investment credit in the next taxable year
