SUMMER IS HERE ... Think Security!
As you begin to gear up for the summer, remember that employees aren't always looking out for YOUR best interest.
 
It is a good idea to double check credit card handling by your service and phone staff. Be sure that they are using the "POST AUTH" Check Option when running a credit card through the system if they make a mistake. Last thing anyone wants is a banking hassle in 90 degree boating weather.
 
Time and Attendance - be sure to review your clock ins and clock outs to save payroll dollars.
 
A quick review of Policies & Procedures for check and cash handling will no doubt save you some money in the long run.

Viruses are a costly problem and are not covered by your annual  support agreement so keeping your antivirus software current is a great way to minimize the chances for a virus on your system.

Biometrics ... WHAT?

 
What are Biometrics?
 
Well that is easy ... 007 used handscanners, Captain Kirk used voice recognition, Gibbs used retinal scanners ...
 
Digital Dining uses finger print scanners.
 
A finger print scanner is a device that (unlike what people think) does not scan your fingerprint and beam the information directly to the FBI or local authorities. They simply scan several points on the finger you are going to use and store that information so that when you come back to the point of sale and apply your finger again, it recognizes you and allows you in.
