What is this?     A Newsletter from DUMAC?

YES! We, the Table Service Group (Shari, Patrick & Larry) thought it would be a good chance to review some things you may have forgotten and let you know what is coming up with DUMAC and Digital Dining. 
Once a month we will email you a tip or an idea that will remind you and inform you. We will announce upcoming User Conferences like the two from 2009 and we will also send along some specials on hardware and supplies that you can take advantage of, just for being a DUMAC Table Service Customer.

Do you remember how...?

Do you remember how to do a Post Authorization and why it is SO important? 

 

 

Post Authorization is used when you have already authorized a Guest's credit card through the system for a transaction, but for some reason have to change the check total (but not the tip amount).

 

A Post Authorization will generate an adjusted credit card slip for signature without securing funds against the Guest's account again. The system actually uses the original Authorization Code, which you will be asked to enter (located below the signature line on the credit card slip).
