A Note from the Director:
I love spring and think that Pella is one of my favorite places to watch it unfold. In Pella we have the wonderful privilege of having a beautiful array of tulips to gaze on in May, but as soon as they arrive they soon disappear. It reminds me of the reality of our lives and how we too fade as quickly as the flowers in the perspective of eternity. So what do we do with these short lives...what legacy do we leave?
In bringing the good news of Jesus we bring the truth of everlasting life. Your gift and partnership with us allows women to hear this truth and not only change their life, but also leave an impacting legacy on their families lives as well.
Some exciting things happening this month. The first and most important is that we will have 2 women completing! See the invite below. Also, we will be having our SPRING GARAGE SALE May 13-15. Bring your donations by in the next week or come and shop!
We are also excited to announce a new staff member! What a blessing she has been and we look forward to what God will do through her in this place. With the addition of a new staff your financial support is more important than ever...we are trusting that God will provide and pray that you may help us meet this need.
Thank you for embarking with us on this journey, and may you be mindful this month of the legacy you leave! |

Introducing....
Hi, my name is Sheila Graham. I'm originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin born and raised. I fell into depression as a young child because of an alcoholic parent who abused me and so by age 11, I discovered alcohol after my Grandmother's funeral which grew into a lifestyle of sex, drugs and rock N roll in the 70's. No matter what I did; new job, new city, it was the same type of old friends, environment and problems because I learned it was within me that needed to change.
Today, I have FREEDOM and healing from past mistakes and choices by coming to a safe environment at Teen Challenge to learn my true identity which was lost, but now found in Christ Jesus. Through God's truth in the Holy Bible this is where I accepted the love, peace and joy, to have living HOPE above all else a healthy lifestyle of mind, body, soul and spirit "one day at a time", my gift of SALVATION, REDEMPTION, and REVIVAL.
I graduated Minnesota Teen Challenge in January 2009, and recently completed Teen Challenge Ministry Institute with a Bible studies degree and I also served on their leadership team as Choir/Events Coordinator and worked part-time with the Minnesota Teen Challenge Licensed program. My hope is to share the love of Jesus and give back that which was so freely given to me. It was through other's love, time and money investing in me and eternity; God's Kingdom that now almost 3 years later I too am sowing into God's Kingdom through the ministry of Teen Challenge with tithes, offerings, and making a difference by sharing my message of HOPE and experience. There's wonderful results, life transformation forever which will bring societal and generational change for many women, families, friends, and communities. I am honored to be here in Pella, Iowa.
Blessings of grace and peace to you all.
