Happy Fall! I just LOVE this time of year - Don't you...?!
And, wow! This is a certainly a month of "anniversary" celebrations for me...
First off - This October issue marks the 2 year anniversary of my "Creations Newsletter" - The very first "issue" was published (online) in October 2007!! Yippee! To check out any of the newsletters you have missed - just go to my website and click on the "newspaper archives"... :)
Secondly, "Trendz" is celebrating it's "1/2 year anniversary" - Hard to believe that we have actually been there for 6 months already! Things are going great - and I have included a couple pics of my booth to share with you! (See below!)
Finally, and most importantly - As you are reading this newsletter, I am currently in Napa Valley with my wonderful husband celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary!! I will keep my eyes (and taste buds) open for new wine products, tips and information... just for you! (It's a tough job - but somebody's gotta do it...!)

 So many of you have asked about my booth at Trendz... "What does it look like?" "How big is it?" "Do you just have glassware, or do you carry other merchandise as well?" Well, here is a little taste of what I'm doing at Trendz...
It is an 8' x 8' corner booth, and as you can see, I carry lots of things besides my glassware and hand-painted accessories... Gourmet foods, cocktail napkins, CD's... a whole variety of different "entertaining themed" products!! If you live (or are visiting) in the KC area - Please stop by!!! We are located on the SE corner of 151 & Nall and someone is there to greet you Monday-Saturday, 10-6 (or until 8:00 on Thursdays!!) Bring a friend... or 12!!
"First Thursday"
Join everyone at Trendz TONIGHT (Thursday, October 1) from 5:00 - 8:00ish!
This is the first "First Thursday" that I will miss - but I will toast all of you that night in Napa!!

Cheeseball Mixes

Just in time for football season... Two new delicious cheeseballs (and I say that in all honesty - and I hate beer!!) And if you are looking for a delicious fall dessert cheeseball, the "Appletini" is divine - tart, but sweet... Ummm! All of the cheeseballs (savory and dessert) are so incredibly easy to prepare... Simply mix with a block of softened cream cheese and a 1/2 stick of butter. For low-fat alternative - use 1 1/2 blocks lite cream cheese. DO NOT, however, use that horrible "no fat" cream cheese... Oh my gosh - that stuff is like rubber! Yucky!! |
Appletini Martini
1 part Absolut vodka
1 part DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker Schnapps
1 part apple juice
Pour all ingredients into a shaker. Shake well & strain into a martini glass. |

These glasses are available in a very limited quantity... I found these in my "stash" from several years ago, and the company doesn't carry the olive and plum glasses any longer. Anyway, I decided to give them a bit of paint and a matching pitcher and sell what I have! There is one set currently on display at Trendz (for sale!!) and I have 3 more sets available... |
