| Greetings!
This was a great home. My kind of home. The home was built in the mid 1800s in one of the most beautiful waterfront towns in New England. Bordering Mystic, CT which thrived around the shipbuilding industry, Stonington was an old whaling port that hosted stand-offs between the British and managed many confrontations between the settlers and the native Americans. Today, Stonington is a truly spectacular ocean front community combined with great American History.
This home had the nooks and the crannies of a classic Main Street home in an old New England town. The spiraling, narrow staircases, the steep, short stairs and the old ship beams in the attic all awarded this home plenty of character. And this home played host to some wonderful furniture that we are fortunate to showcase in our store.
