Happy New Year! Louisiana Right to Life is excited to make 2012 a year filled with more pro-life activities than ever.

What's your New Year's Resolution? Consider resolving to do more to defend life in 2012!

There are so many ways for you to learn how to save lives and to change hearts and minds.

Just to name a few...
March for Life in DC or Baton Rouge, attend a Camp Joshua weekend, start a pro-life club or get more involved in your pro-life club, volunteer at a CPC...the list is endless!

Host a pro-life film festival at your house with your friends! There are a TON of great pro-life movies that have come out recently. Find our more details on planning this event on the Students for Life of America site.
Louisiana Right to Life: Lighting the Way to a Pro-Life Louisiana
Volunteer at a Crisis Pregnancy Center (CPC) in your local area. Your volunteer work will help support women that find themselves in crisis pregnancies.

You can view a list of CPCs located in Louisiana and contact your local CPC to see how you or your group can help. If you need assistance, feel free to contact Kacie Hampton by email at khampton@prolifelouisiana.org.

The 39th Anniversary of Roe V. Wade

 

January 22, 2012 marks the 39th anniversary of the landmark court decision of Roe v. Wade that legalized abortion across the United States, and it is still the law of the land today. The March for Life commemorates this Supreme Court decision, and it is a peaceful and prayerful protest on Capitol Hill. Hundreds of thousands of people attend every year to take a stand for life. See below to learn what you can do this January to defend life.

This year's Geaux Forth will feature two of the country's top speakers--David Bereit of 40 Days for Life and Stephanie Gray from the Canadian Center for Bio-ethical Reform.

Louisiana Camp Joshua (LCJ), a weekend pro-life camp to train high school students to be pro-life leaders, is an amazing opportunity for the pro-life youth!  

 

Teens can learn from top-notch pro-life leaders and receive the training they need to be an effective witness to Life in their communities and schools!

Louisiana Right to Life: Lighting the Way to a Pro-Life Louisiana
The Joshua Leadership Institute (JLI) is an exciting opportunity for high school students and entering college freshman to experience the pro-life movement in a way never before done! JlI is a weeklong program designed to equip you with education on ALL life issues and give you the chance to dialogue with new friends and some of the top pro-life leaders of the nation!

JLI 2012 will be taking place from July 15-19 in Baton Rouge, LA.
