Greetings!

On Sunday evening, 40 Days for Life NOLA 2009 came to a beautiful ending as people shared stories of how 40 Days for Life made an impact in our community. 

Most notably, we know that 11 lives were spared from abortion during the 40 days!  Thank you for your prayer and witness!

While 40 Days for Life 2009 has ended, abortion has not.  In fact, you can bet that the abortion facility workers are relieved that the number on the sidewalk has diminished some. 

Here are a couple items for going forth after 40 Days for Life:

• Continue Standing in the Gap: We encourage both individuals and groups to continue going out to pray and witness for life at the largest abortion facility in Louisiana on Ridgelake.  Betty Nadeau, a committed vigiler, is organizing individuals and groups to take regular time year round.  You can contact Betty at eracn86@gmail.com to learn more.
• Be Trained! You can become a trained sidewalk counselor by contacting Yvette Fouchi.  She can help you get out there and help save more lives!
• Churches and groups: Be sure to pick up a "Thank You" poster (image below) to put on your bulletin boards to thank those who participated and to encourage them to continue witnessing for life.
• Visit us online: You can always visit 40DaysForLifeNOLA.com or ProLifeLouisiana.org to learn what else you can do to witness to life everyday.
