This Week! 2009 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH)

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has published the findings from its National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH). This annual study investigates the prevalence, patterns, and consequences of substance use and abuse in the general U.S. population, aged 12 years and older.

Registration Available for Alcohol Policy Conference 15 (AP15)

This Alcohol Policy conference is the 15th in a series of conferences on the avoidance of alcohol-related problems using public policy strategies. The conference will explore, develop, and advance public policy approaches to the prevention of alcohol problems in order to promote evidence-based strategies and to bring focus to the need for alcohol policy reform at all levels-local, regional, national, and international.

 

Dates: December 5-7, 2010

Location: Washington, D.C.

NASPA Student Affairs Law and Policy Conference

This conference brings together professionals from the fields of student affairs and law to provide current legal information regarding case law; recommend examples from various higher education institutions; and offer the opportunity to discuss, dissect, and bridge theory to practice.
