Anger Management is usually reserved for those out of control men and women who run afoul of their employers, spouses and even the law. But I have begun teaching anger management to people who NEVER get angry. It recently occurred to me that the reason some men and a lot of women never express their anger is because they are terrified of what they might do if they allow themselves to feel their anger.  If you are one of those people who smiles when you feel like screaming - if you sometimes feel like a teapot ready to burst - but you manage to control yourself at all times anyway - you could be an Anger Anorexic. Don't bother looking that term up.  It's mine.  And you can expect to hear more about it in the months to come as I delve deeper into what I suspect is a serious contributor to the world's epidemic of depression.  Remember, depression is anger turned in. So learning how to manage anger instead of suppressing it will not only make you a more emotionally balanced person - it could improve your happiness quotient.
