Greetings!

By now everyone should have their March kit, "Vie Brillante"  in their hands and I hope you are having as much fun creating with it as I did! Please make sure you view what the Design Team created with this kit, as I was just floored at all of their awesome artwork.

As you look at the sneak peek of the April kit, "Charm School Debutante" you will notice that this kit is full of funky goodness. Please start shooting away and get prepared to have some creative fun with this kit that is jam packed with all new CHA goodies. Just to name a few.. American Crafts, Jenni Bowlin, BAM POP, and much more! I have also included a peek of one of our Add On Kits coming up for April: "Etiquette 101", and don't be fooled by the name, you can get as funky and sassy as you want with all of the fun in this little kit. Make sure you check the site when we update on the last day of the month so you can see not only these kits in their full glory, but there will be other kits as well.

I have gotten many questions as to the status of will we ever be able to offer "one time kit purchases"? We are trying very hard to be able to do that soon. We always go to our waitlist for all of our new members and we have truly added more and more customers since our debut last July. If we can ever exhaust the waitlist then we will definitely add single purchase kits to our store each month. I really am hoping that this can happen soon. I also get asked all time if you have to be a kit subscriber to purchase the Project and Add On Kits and the answer is no. These are available to anyone to purchase. They are all put in the Bad Girls store on release day (last day of each month) and are available on a first come first served basis. I always make up plenty and generally don't have a problem with not being able to satisy everyone.

I am very happy to finally release our March Project Kit "Cherished Memories". This gorgeous little treasure trove of goodness was such a pleasure to design and create. It truly epitomizes everything that I feel an heirloom should have: timeless design, decorative and elegant, and it is chalk full of memories. I can only imagine how someone would love to pour through each and every book, starting with the one that is mounted on the top. What a wonderful legacy of your own special memories to document in one Oh-So-Pretty place. And in my opinion, it is just as pretty as a decorative element to set out and enjoy. You will not want to hide this one. To purchase yours, please either visit our kits page or the store.

Make sure you also check out our blog for information on BAD GIRLS POP QUIZ.. this is going to be fun, but you have to be prepared! Who doesn't like winning a prize???? And we have some good ones!
In closing, I hope everyone has a blessed holiday Easter weekend and make sure you take lots of photos.. we have lots of memories to create!

P.S. .. Save all the Peeps and Dark Chocolate for me!

Gorgeousness, funkiness, sweetness and playfulness. Just a few words to describe what the Design Team girls did this month. With the addition of three new girls last month, we dare say that the Bad Girls team really are diverse and that in such a good way. Good because you benefit from seeing how one single kit inspires and actually are used to create so many different styles, from the traditional sweet layouts to the more artsy ones. One kit. Thousands of possibilities. Just sit back and let our fabulous girls inspire you.

Look at this add-on! Not only do you get a lot of yummy huge clear Svarowski crystals, you also get a number of sweet trims and fabrics and maybe most important - an autentic color page from "Le petit Prince" or "The little prince" as it's called in English by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. That's just simply...sweetness!

Melissa Frances Vintage Box

Who here is not a sucker for a pretty storage box? After all girls..go ahead and admit it....we are all horders, right? And we have TONS of cutesy tootsy, little teeny tiny trinkets, right? So, tell me we don't need a container equally as gorgeous for them??? Of course we do! Wink So...I scoured and searched and to be honest with you, I could NOT come up with something so hot dang GORGEOUS with such a wonderfully afordable price! I mean...come on girls...take a look at how pretty this cute little box is:

Now, for the good stuff....Look again at the old world charm and how clever the hinged storage compartments are!!! Now...what you see above is only the first of three layers of storage space that you have. I KNOW...this is EXCITING stuff!!! Are you ready to hear this??? The good thing is that when you close and re-hinge the top layer, and go to the second layer you have a larger compartment on the left and then 6 of the mini compartments on the right!!! So....you can totally fit your bigger embellishments also! You can put your cute tags, little bits and pieces of vintage fabrics, flowers, etc. And of course in the third layer you have even more storage! And what do I absolutely love on top of all of this??? The finish girls!!! Isn't it gorgeous??? The gorgeous white, hand rubbed vintage finish is nothing short of STUNNING! Very Happy And one more thing...it is made out of SOLID WOOD! Shocked Shocked Shocked In my honest opinion these boxes are not only decorative, but they are highly functional, which you know is high on my priority list for all of my Product Of The Month choices.

So...I don't know about you, but I was floored when I saw how much these little pretties are! Can you believe they are ONLY $24.99 *gasp* Shocked Shocked Yep...so true girls!!! I was AMAZED myself! For a storage box with so much GLAM, so much STYLE...and it holds so darn much! Oh...I forgot to give you the measurements.... Rolling Eyes It is 10.5" X 4" X 4 1/4" ....perfect sizing, wouldn't you say so???

So girls....now the scoop on availability. I had to import these from out of the country and have not recieved them yet. They will in fact be in around the third week of March. I will take pre-orders on them as I only have a limited quantity. If I greatly exceed the quantity I will re-order. Please contact me via PM or email and let me know that you want one reserved for you. I will only charge you $5.00 now and balance due upon shipping. Shipping charge on this will be actual weather it is shipping Internationally or within the U.S. Please let me know if you have any questions.

It's definitely fun to be able to use your kit and the left over packaging to create something fun and personal to spice up your home. For this project, I decided to create wall hanging with a grouping of frames to adorn my scrapbook room's walls. Using the March kit and the fun polka-dot backing from the "Say It With Crystals" packaging, I created 3 coordinating wall hangings to compliment the new wall colors of my scrapbook room.

I purchased 3 sets of frames from my local craft big box store, "Michaels" to alter. These frames were both inexpensive and a perfect fit for the project I had in mind. Here you will find the step by step instructions to create a fun frame set of your very own.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Select the packaging from the "Say It With Crystals" and trim across the bottom using your paper trimmer. You will trim off approx. 4 inches...which is just above the logo. You will use the remaining piece to cut in halves to use on the smaller frames.

TA1

2. Adhere the large and 2 smaller cuts to the center of each frame using glue or adhesive tape.

ta2

3. Using a transparency image from your own stash, trim and adhere to the center of the larger frame.

Ta3

4. From your kit, select 2 Prima flowers (I chose the lime-green colored flowers) and adhere to the each smaller frame on the inside. Add bling to the center of the flowers and "Say It With Crystals" coming out of each flower.

TA1

5. Select alphas and create a title or poem and place on the large center frame more towards the top.

TA1

6. Using your personal computer or your handwriting, print/write either a quote or poem and trim into strips.  Adhere these strips to your center frame over-top the previously cut transparency image.

TA1

7. To complete the design of your frames, embellish center frame with a piece of thick ribbon.

TA1

Now you have completed a fun set of frames that can inspire you as you are creating. Enjoy!
