Introducing Award-winning Dillon Hodges!
New DHR Music national spokesman
We are proud to announce that we've signed an outstanding guitarist to represent
DHR Music - his name is Dillon Hodges. We can't think of a better person to be
our spokesman. First of all, he truly is a guitar phenom. In addition, he seeks
to excel at all that he does and believes in giving back through community
service and teaching the younger generation of upcoming guitarists. Last but not
least, he is left-handed! We're astounded at the great accomplishments he's
already achieved at the age of 18 and expect them to only multiply.
Since the time that Dillon first played a guitar, at
age 11, his musical journey has been on a fast track. Less than two years after
he first picked up a guitar, he won a national championship as the best flat
picking guitar player in the country for ages 12-and-under. In September of
2007, just one month past his 16th birthday, he won the Flat Picking National
Championship at the 36th Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas, besting a
field of 40 of the nation's top pickers. With the win Hodges became the first
guitar player ever to win the title of National Champion Country Music Beginner
in Flat Top Guitar and the Flat Picking National Championship. In winning the
Walnut Valley Festival, Hodges became the first left-handed player in the 36
years of the event to win. He's also the first winner from the state of Alabama
and is the second youngest winner ever - second only to Mark O'Connor.
"When I hear a young man like Dillon Hodges play the guitar I know that the future of flatpicking is in very good hands.... His lyrics, voice, and guitar playing have a sound that is similar to some of the new popular artists like John Mayer." - Dan Miller, Flatpicking Guitar Magazine (Sept/Oct 2007)
For more information, visit Dillon's website at www.dillonhodges.com
We look forward to Dillon joining us at the South Carolina Guitar Show in Spartanburg, SC, Feb 28th & March 1st, where he will play a wide array of musical genres. Be sure to join us!

Introducing DHR Music's newest team member! Bill Neale, Director of Client and Artist Relations
We proudly welcome the newest member of DHR Music, Bill Neale, who we have just
hired to join us as a Director of Client and Artist Relations. He is extremely accomplished in music and business
which we expect to be a great asset to DHR Music.
Bill Neale took to the guitar very early on
and by the age of 18 he had already played with Sammy Davis Jr and the
Temptations. Bill has a unique work history, in that he was a successful
musician, producer, arranger, and songwriter for over 16 years. In 1986, he changed
careers and had a successful career in sales and sales management while continuing to keep his feet wet in the music world.

In
addition to touring with The Temptations, Sammy Davis Jr. and Deniece Williams,
Bill worked as a Studio Musician in L.A. for 10 years. He played on albums by
artists such as Teddy Pendergrass, The Temptations and Lou Rawls. One of Bill's
favorites was Deniece Williams' hit,"It's Gonna Take A Miracle". In addition, he
was the staff guitarist for all Chuck Barris Television productions, including
"The Gong Show". Other shows included Dallas, The Tonight Show and Fantasy
Island. During that time period, he
represented the Kawai Corporation at two consecutive NAMM shows for their line
of guitars. In 1997 Bill was featured in "Vintage Guitar Magazine" and in 1998
he appeared as a featured guest on the award winning "World of Guitar" TV
show.
He received both Gold and Platinum
record awards - a RIAA Gold award in 1980 for his guitar solo on Robert John's
hit record "Sad Eyes", and a RIAA Double Platinum award in 2001 as a songwriter
for Will Smith's "Willenium" CD.

Introducing DHR Music's new team member! Pat Kelly, Keyboard Specialist and Special Projects Producer

We are proud to announce that we have added Pat Kelly to our team as our keyboard specialist and special projects producer. Pat is a dynamic composer and producer whom we've known and respected
for years as a musician and as a producer of some of J Curve Records'
finest releases.
Pat Kelly has had an active career as a keyboardist, composer and
producer over the past 40 years. Beginning as a lighting designer for a
rock band at age 15, he moved to the keyboard chair and began writing
music for the band. Moving toward jazz, he later played with legendary
Cincinnati tenor saxophonist Jimmy McGary. He learned the intricacies
of piano restoration and tuning at The Player Piano Shop, before going
on to earn a degree in musical composition at the University of
Cincinnati.
After returning from a four-year stay in Pensacola, FL, Kelly
formed his 13-piece PsychoAcoustic Orchestra, an eclectic big band that
released two CDs of original music in the mid-90s and is working on a
new CD. He served as in-house producer for J Curve Records in the
late-90s/early2000's, producing highly acclaimed recordings by
guitarist Scotty Anderson, R&B vocalist P. Ann Everson-Price, Latin
X-posure and three volumes of the J Curve Cincinnati Jazz Collection,
among others. Over the years, he has performed with Cal Collins, Kenny
Poole, Chuck Wayne, Barney Kessel, Buddy DeFranco, Ira Sullivan, Teri
Thornton, Louis Hayes, Howard Johnson and Red Rodney.
