To celebrate Benedetto's 40 years of guitarmaking excellence, Benedetto Guitars has introduced a limited edition 40th Anniversary Model. They will only produce 40 right-handed and 1 left-handed instruments - we have one of each.
This limited edition's distinguishing features include a white lacquer finish, a peach inlay at the 12th fret and an abalone signature logo on the headstock.
14-1/2" Laminated Hollowbody Archtop, Florentine cutaway, Gold Hardware.
Accompanied by a Magnum bottle (1.5ML) of Benedetto 40th Anniversary Cabernet Sauvignon hand signed by Bob Benedetto and vintner Dave Miner, as well as a Certificate of Authenticity.

The Benedetto Fratello Prototype
 JUST IN!
An exquisite guitar from Bob's personal collection which looks, plays, and sounds incredible. Crafted
exclusively for the discriminating jazz traditionalist, the Benedetto
Fratello is considered the benchmark archtop guitar.
The Fratello prototype model began as a joint venture between classical
guitarmaker Augi Lo Prinzi and Bob Benedetto. In 1979, both Augi and
Bob had their shops in the same industrial park in Clearwater, Florida.
They were to form a partnership to make the Fratello brand - an
affordable archtop guitar that would compete in the marketplace. The
original prototype was made by Bob. Cindy Benedetto, Bob's wife, chose
the name Fratello which means "brother" in Italian - to symbolize the
two Italian makers.
At the time the prototype was finished, Augi's existing workload was
all that he could handle; therefore the partnership was never formed
and Bob decided to introduce the Fratello as a new model to his
existing Benedetto line. The Fratello model went on to become one of
Benedetto's top models, played by Jack Wilkins, Royce Campbell, Adrian
Ingram, the late Carlo Pes, Jack Petersen and Leo Kottke.

with no modifications, repairs, etc. - it even has the original hang tag! The
case is in superb condition as well.
It's rare to find an instrument
