 As the first trimester of the year comes to a close, here at Rio Mar construction is advancing on schedule.
The East Tower is already at its 6th level, and every week another level is added.
The Construction of three of the six exclusive Single Family Residences has also begun.
Since from the second week of April, we will begin constructing the social areas, swimming pools, the Beach Club and Spa, the Show Apartment will be torn down, so come to our Open Houses, and enjoy the fun, the sun, the warm tropical breezes, the fantastic views and the Pacific Ocean at your feet. The Rio Mar Development Team will be there to attend you. |

Every Saturday in March we will have an Open House in the Model Apartment. You will also be able to go up the tower under construction and admire the magnificent views surrounding Rio Mar Luxury Beach Community, and enjoy our BBQ, refreshments and a very pleasant day out at your future home.
Last February 14th. and March 7th and 14th., we had three successful Open Houses that were visited by owners, brokers and new customers who were able to appreciate the advances that are being rapidly achieved on the project. Everyone shared a very enjoyable day out at the sunny beach with the Rio Mar Development Team.

Panama enjoyed a steady growth in its GDP having achieved 11.7% in 2007, and had a slight reduction in its GDP to 10% in 2008. Because of the current economic setbacks that have seriously affected countries worldwide, and notably the US, Panama cannot remain untouched by these circumstances.
However, because of the country's solid financial institutions and the excellent management and oversight of the Panamanian Banking Association and other regulating institutions, as well as the due diligence and controls exercised by many banks, assure that their capital and liquidity will remain stable. Top economists in Panama anticipate that the GDP for 2009 will grow by 5% to 6%, a figure which, under the present conditions, is acceptable.
The leading sector in the economy's growth last year was construction, which grew 30%, more than any other. Other sectors reflected double-digit growth, such as in transportation, telecommunications and cellular phones, among others.
Because of increased tourism, more hotels are under construction to accommodate the number of tourists arriving in Panama.
The residential real estate sector remains strong, and city, country and beach projects continue to be developed or expanded.
