St. John Ambulance Reflects on History in Newfoundland & Labrador
On April 11th, 2010, St. John Ambulance, Newfoundland & Labrador Council, officially celebrated its Centennial Year with the opening of an exhibit at The Rooms - the Provincial Archives, Art Gallery and Museum. The exhibit, entitled "Reflections on History" features archival records relating to St. John Ambulance, and its operations and activities throughout 20th century Newfoundland and Labrador history. Caribbean Prepares for Disaster
St John Canada is pleased to participate in the latest training activity in support of the Caribbean Disaster Preparedness program. Trainers (instructors) trained in the initial roll out were brought together in April to compare successes and challenges of the first half of the program. CPR Training Helps Wife Save Husband
St. John Ambulance's mission is to enable Canadians to improve their health, safety and quality of life by providing training and community service. Each November, St. John Branches in BC & the Yukon deliver that mission by hosting a Free Community CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) Day.
