Where will you be ?
Towards the end of each year many of you contact us wanting to escape at Christmas, only to be disappointed by the availability or high price of flights. If you are planning to get away over the Festive Season the best advice we can give is BOOK NOW. Flight prices tend to increase from October onwards but if you book now you can still find a bargain! Many of you have already made your plans to escape to far off lands this Christmas from climbing Mount Toubkal in Winter, sleeping under the stars in the deserts of Algeria, exploring the exotic Temples and Trails of Burma, trekking in the unspoiled and remote Colombian Andes or even climbing to the top of Africa's highest peak, Kilimanjaro. Don't leave it too late to book your escape this Christmas, call us now. >> View all Christmas Holidays

Gitare School - Kenya

Building the future
Our association with the Juniper Trust continues to make a positive contribution and change the lives of all those involved. KE School groups' manager, Lucy Woods has recently returned from a visit to Gitare School in Chogoria along with 23 pupils, teachers and parents from Alderley Edge School. They raised a staggering £12,000 that fully funded the creation of a new library and renovation of the Nursery classroom. The group not only helped with the build, but also donated 100 musical recorders, football equipment and classroom materials. Lucy wrote a blog on her experiences, which gives a great insight on the project. If you have any similar ideas for your school why not email Lucy at lucyw@keadventure.com and she will give you a call. >> View School Aid in Africa blog >> View Juniper Trust

It's not too late
The summer holiday may be over, but it's just 7 weeks until most schools break up again for the October Half Term. Autumn is a great time for a mini-adventure with friends and family, a chance to catch up on a week of sunshine before the onset of winter. It is not too late to sign up for a whole range of guaranteed KE holidays over this period. For example families can choose a multi-activity experience in Jordan including Wadi Rum, Petra and the Dead Sea or a North African adventure in the deserts and canyons of Morocco with our ever-popular Les Petits Caravanniers. Amongst our regular holidays, we have several that neatly fit into the Half Term slot, including the Dead 2 Read bike ride in Jordan, a delightful walk on the wild side of Mallorca, traversing the Tramuntana Way or climbing to the highest point in Africa, Kilimanjaro via the Rongai Route. >> View all October Half Term availability

Ban put on hold!
In last month's enews we announced that the Trekking Agents Association of Nepal had announced a ban on all solo trekking but it appears a reshuffle in the Ministry of Tourism has meant the Nepalese Government has made a u-turn and has decided to put this on hold for the near future.
