Share your experiences and win prizes
Some of you may have noticed subtle changes to our website over the past few months. We have been working hard to improve performance, design and the overall user experience and we hope you like the results. The latest and most exciting addition is the brand new KE Blog. You can now share your travel stories, adventures, mishaps and tales of great conquests with other like-minded travellers. Even if you're not a budding blogger reading other blogs is a great way to get an inside, up-front overview of a KE holiday from someone that's actually been there and done that! For example, if you are interested in climbing Kilimanjaro read Kili Climb by Tim Ward. Plus, we will be voting quarterly for the 'BEST Blog' featured and there will be some great prizes on offer. For the summer (to be chosen at the end of Sept), it's a set of KE branded ultra light 'Fizan Trekking Poles'. >> Find out more on blogs and what's new on our website

Everest Diamond Jubilee
|
New trek dates added next Spring
No sooner have you packed away your bunting for one Diamond Jubilee celebration than we are suggesting you get out a very different kind of decoration - Tibetan Prayer Flags. On 29 May 2013 we are celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of the 1st ascent of 'Chomolungma'. On this date in 1953 Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay reached the summit of Everest at the tender ages of 33 and 39 respectively. To celebrate the 60th Anniversary we have added 3 new dates to coincide with the 29 May celebrations at basecamp. Our 'Classic' Everest Basecamp, Ultimate Everest Trek and Everest Basecamp Lodge Trek all have 'Special Departures' to get you to the right place at the right time. >> View all Everest Treks >> View all Nepal Holidays

Dhaulagiri Circuit wins World's top trek
|
| |
Adventure Travel Magazine Top 100 Treks
The Dhaulagiri Circuit in Nepal, an exciting three-week holiday around the world's seventh highest mountain, has topped Adventure Travel magazine's compilation of the world's 100 greatest treks, beating classics like the Inca Trail and Kilimanjaro. "We chose the Dhaulagiri Circuit as it still offers the sense of adventure that you get from going off the beaten track," says Adventure Travel's editor Rosie Fuller. "The world's most famous treks, like the Inca Trail, Kilimanjaro and the hike to Everest Base Camp, are all fabulous expeditions, and all did well in our countdown, but we felt the Dhaulagiri Circuit offers that extra bit of risk, excitement and good old-fashioned adventure." The list also includes a number of other KE trips including Albania's Hoggar Mountains and some of our more remote treks to Madagascar, Mount Cameroon and Kamchatka. >> View Dhaulagiri Circuit
