If you are happy to say goodbye to 2009, you are not alone. But
2010 is going to be a great year, and soon the struggles and strife of last
year will be a distant memory. Just take a peek at what 2010 has in store for
you:
You will merge new
cooperative relationships- Cooperative relationships are at the center of
your business strategy this year-vertically, horizontally and globally in your
market. You will think in terms of who else sells to your market (or who wants
to), who can refer you into new markets, how you can leverage current
relationships, ways you can offer your product in conjunction with another
product or service, and even how you can get other businesses to market your
product for you.
You will harness
technology- Twitter, Facebook, Windows 7 and Linked-In are not inherently
useful to you and your success-it's what you do with them that counts. As you
examine your business this year you look at which technologies will take you to
the next level of efficiency and which ones are simply not a fit for you right
now. You might upgrade how you use Outlook, take an iPhone lesson or go
paperless. Whatever the case, technology is your silent partner in 2010.
You will de-clutter
your way to a great year- Clutter creates chaos, and since this year is all
about clarity and flow, you will invest the time it takes to get rid of the old
and streamline your workspace, home and desktop. Bad habits and negative ways
of thinking float away early in the year as well, making room for success in
unexpected areas.
"Don't accept the old
order. Get rid of it." Johnny Rotten
