A Message from the National Administrator

StephanieMost of you have been involved with U.S. Adult Soccer for many years and therefore will remember the newspaper format of Keeping In Touch.  Over the years it brought numerous informative articles about the current happenings in the USASA as well as events to look forward to.  As the association grew as well as the demand for a quicker turnaround on news and results, we moved Keeping In Touch to an electronic format on a monthly basis.

December celebrates our one year anniversary of the electronic newsletter; we hope you have found it to be a useful tool to share with your members and with other friends of soccer.  We have added more departments such as the Coaching Tips Column with Men's National Select Team Head Coach Aleks Mihailovic; we have just launched a new program in conjunction with a recent sponsorship deal, the Recharge Team of the Year.

As we continue on the path of growth, we hope to be able to provide more articles, tips and human interest stories than ever before.  If you have any ideas or stories to share please let us know, we are always open to new suggestions and comments.

As you read through this issue we have highlighted some of the top happenings over the past year, please enjoy and again if there is anything you would like to see added please let us know.

On behalf of myself and the rest of the USASA staff we want to wish you and your family a Happy Holiday!

Yours in Soccer,
Stephanie Walker
So Many Goooals Achieved!

This year has certainly been an unusual one. Regardless of gas prices rocketing, a volatile economy with a gloomy stock market, and a fervent presidential election trail, you helped USASA events and championships survive.

We are pleased to bring you month-to-month events that were accomplished during the year of 2008. Click on each month to see!

Buddy Ball is a subsidiary of OMM Soccer, which is a large recreational soccer league catering to 2,500 children throughout the city of Orangetown in Rockland County, NY, for the past 40 years.
