| Coed Cup Set to Kick Off in Dallas |
USASA's Coed Cup is fast approaching! This year's event features teams from New Mexico, North and South Texas, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Washington State, and will be played October 24-26 at the Russell Creek Park in Dallas, TX. Click here for more information.
This Week's Featured Team is: DFW Tornados (picture above)
Team manager: Blake Abbott Affiliated League: North Texas Coed Soccer Association
B.A.: "We have been playing together in some form for 5 or 6 years. We started out as a team in a church league and we have kind of migrated from there."
[Coed Committee: What is the Team's best moment? And worst moment?]
B.A.: "We won the Coors Light Cup two years in a row and that is probably our best two moments. Our worst moment seems to be the last game of most of our regular seasons. They always seem to get rescheduled two or three times so that we end up playing the finals with less than half our team."
