National Cups Results 

CupsPlay in the 2008 National Cup Finals came to a close on Sunday, August 10 as teams in the Men's and Women's Open, Amateur, Over 30 and U23 divisions competed for the national title at the Starfire Sports Complex in Seattle, WA.

Midyear Meeting Important News
 
 
Mission ConcepcionThe USASA Midyear Meeting and Workshops is being held at the San Antonio Marriot Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX, on October 9-12, 2008.

September 19th is the deadline for the standard registration rate of $125 for the 2008 Midyear Meeting. Starting September 20th, the price will go up to $150. Please register today at www.usasa.com under the Midyear Meeting 2008 page.

Along with the Midyear Meeting registration, remember to make reservations promptly at the San Antonio Marriot Riverwalk, as the cutoff date is September 18th.  Call 1-800-648-4462 and mention the USASA Midyear Meeting and Workshops 2008. Room rate is $159/night.

USASA Outing: Ranch Experience with Texas Style BBQ.

On Saturday evening, October 11, come join us for a ranch experience and Texas Style BBQ at the Enchanted Springs Ranch located just outside of San Antonio. 

Enchanted Springs Ranch is an 86-acre working ranch known for its rugged, natural beauty.  The ranch also features an old western town right out of the 1800's that was designed for Western Movies and has also been used in several TV films, commercials and music videos. 

Upon arrival, guests will be able to stroll through town, shop at the trading post or pull up to the Silver Spur Saloon for a drink. Guests may also take a scenic tractor wagon ride throughout the ranch.

Coed Cup early-bird registration dealine is September 10, 2008

FlashRegister for the 2008 Coed Cup today and pay only $300! (Early-bird fee is valid until September 10th).

If you are in the process of getting your team together as the season is just starting, there is a regular registration rate at $375 which closes on September 24th. The national tournament is about two months away, so there is plenty of time for your team to register. Download the official entry form here.

The 2008 Coed Cup is set to kick off on October 24-26 at Russell Creek Park in Dallas, Texas. Come out and join the participating teams in this fun and exciting tournament!  As of today, teams from across the United States (Virginia, Washington, Texas, Alaska, Indiana, and the District of Columbia) have already expressed interest.

USASA Hall of Fame announces Master of Ceremonies

Hank SteinbrecherThe Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce that former Secretary General of the U.S. Soccer Federation, Hank Steinbrecher, will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the 2008 Induction Ceremony scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. (CT).

Mr. Steinbrecher will introduce the Hall of Fame, Class of 2008 inductees to hundreds of soccer enthusiasts that will witness a memorable night. The honorees include: Brian Alexander, Chanka K. Baldeosingh, Anthony Falcone, Debra Trapikas and John Zangrilli.

With the addition of the 2008 class, the US Adult Soccer Hall of Fame will now boast 86 members.
