 A Journey Through The Chakras
We continue our chakra meditation series this month with our second chakra, Svadhisthana. Otherwise known as our sacral chakra, this chakra is a chakra of duality ~ all things two...for yin, there's yang; for left, there's right; for male, there's female. With our reproductive organs located at this chakra, it is also our birthing chakra; and by that I don't just mean physical birth, but birth of any kind...whether the birth of a new relationship, a new career, a new hobby, etc. Since our sexual organs are located at this chakra, it's also known as the passion chakra - and not just sexual passion (cool down there), but passion for life overall!
Some things attributed to, but not limited to, the second chakra are: arthritis, menopause, PMS, impotence, the bladder, prostate and large intestine. Fear of losing control or being controlled (such as when raped), financial loss, money, guilt, sex and creativity are also related to Svadhisthana.

"Calling On All Angels" Meditation Series
This month, we will be focusing on Archangel Ariel, as we continue with our "Calling On All Angels" Meditation Series. Last month, we were introduced to Archangel Gabriel, the Messenger Angel. This month, we will call upon and connect with Archangel Ariel, whose name means "Lioness of God." Ariel's duties include: helping us to be courageous and stand up for our needs; prosperity-helping us to manifest our dreams into reality; and encouraging us to spread our wings and fly! Ariel is a power manifestor; she also works closely with healers, teachers and service workers. Ariel is a huge crusader for environmental causes; she works very closely with the nature angels to help protect and care for animals!
Our Meditation on Archangel Ariel is being offered two time this month:
Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 6:00 PM; and
Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 10:00 AM.

 Open Meditation
Wednesday, October 29th,
from 2:00 PM -to- 7:00 PM
Last month, for the first time, Peace-By-Peace offered its first "Open Meditation." This, essentially, is a period of time where we block off our schedule to provide YOU with a space that is conducive to meditate in. Many times we hear from clients, "Well, I'd like to meditate, but I don't have a space in my home to do so" -or- "I don't know how to begin, and I need some help." During "Open Meditation," you can come for a half-hour, two hours, or the whole time and meditate! You can meditate in silence, select a CD to listen to from Caly's extensive library of CDs* (both sound and guided meditations), you can meditate inside or even outside if weather permits (meditation cushions will be available, should you require same). Although Caly is NOT leading guided meditations during this time, she will be on hand if you have any questions or need guidance in getting started. Furthermore, for an additional fee, Caly will be offering Chair Reiki Sessions as well as mini Angel Card Readings, for those who wish to expand upon their Meditation experience.
Since you can come/go as you please, no reservations are required for this event. We do, however, ask that a small energy offering of $5.00 be given for the work involved in preparing this space for you.
*NOTE: At this time, we only have a few CD players and headsets available. If you can bring your own CD player and headset, that would be extremely helpful. Thank you.
