Welcome to November's wellness newsletter issue! Weather has definitely changed for worse over the past few days in the UK and you may feel less motivated to stay active and committed to your healthy eating plan. If that is the case, let me remind you that winter days will pass like they always do and this is the time when your body especially needs good fuel and exercise to stay fit and strong. Only the strongest will survive this winter virus-free!

Christmas indeed is just a few weeks away and, while continuing to focus on general health, exercise and long term weight management, I thought some tips on how to stay on track this holiday season with your weight loss goals may still be welcome....

With Christmas holidays right around the corner, people are gearing up for one last battle of the bulge before "goodie season" settles in. But fasting, living on lettuce leaves, or excluding entire food groups won't cut it in the long run, because it's just too hard as well as unhealthy and the slowed metabolism, bingeing, and self-recrimination that follow can make a weight problem even worse.

An antioxidant is a nutrient capable of disabling free radicals, whose production is increased by stress, poor diet, pollution. They act as our internal fighting system, reducing cell damage. During metabolic process in the body, free radicals are produced as a normal by-product of oxidation.
