Over 1,400 students in Woodburn, OR were treated to "end-of-school" special events which featured Jimmy Cabrera, one of the top three motivational speakers in the nation. Students from Valor Middle School and French Prairie Middle School attended student assemblies in their respective schools to hear Jimmy's powerful message about self-worth, self esteem, cultural pride, and the importance of staying in school, improving their academic performance, preparing themselves to transition into junior high or high school, reading during the summer, and coming back ready to learn in the fall.
Jimmy Cabrera is President of Success Through Excellence, Inc., based in Houston, TX and partners regularly as a featured speaker in USHLI's 2012 Student Leadership Series.
