The 7th annual Central Texas Career and College Recruitment Fair will be held Friday, April 13 in Brownwood, TX. Approximately 1,000 high students from 30 school districts are expected to attend. Over 20 recruiters representing vocational and technical schools, community colleges, 4-year academic institutions, the military, major employers, and other workforce related groups will sponsor exhibits.
The featured speakers at the Brownwood event will be Carlos Ojeda from Philadelphia and Andres Lara (the Cuban Guy) from Miami. Both are among the most gifted and powerful motivational speakers in the nation.
  Our first Student Leadership Series events will be held in Springdale, AR on Thursday and Friday, April 19 and 20. An estimated 5,000 students representing three middle schools and three junior high schools are expected to attend. An additional 4,000 high school students will attend the Student Leadership Series in the fall. The featured speakers at the Springdale events will be Jimmy Cabrera from Houston, Carlos Ojeda from Philadelphia, and Dr. Juan Andrade from Chicago. Jimmy is ranked among the top three motivational speakers in the nation by Market Data Services and Carlos is the top-ranked speaker in the nation in his age group by Dr. Andrade. |
