In keeping with the USHLI tradition of showcasing only exceptional motivational speakers, four more will be featured at our 2012 National Conference representing different segments of society including the U.S. military, Corporate America, and a Certified Speaking Professional. 

 

Major General Kelly K. McKeague holds a B.S. degree and a M.S. degree from Georgia Institute of Technology.  He also completed the Air War College and the Senior Executives in National and International Security Program at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.  He is currently the Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for National Guard Matters at the Department of Defense. 

 

 

U.S. Navy Captain Kenneth Barrett will help launch our 2012 Student Leadership Series on Thursday, February 16.  He holds a B. A. degree from Holy Cross, a M. A. degree from the Naval War College, an Executive MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School, and graduated from the Armed Forces Staff College.  He is currently the Deputy Director, Office of Diversity Management and Equal Opportunity at the Department of Defense.  

 

 

Richard Montanez began his PepsiCo career at Frito-Lay in 1976 as a janitor. He is recognized as the creator of the Flaming Hot line of products including Flamin' Hot Cheetos, which influenced future ethnic products and the first Frito-Lay Hispanic marketing team.  He currently leads Multicultural Sales & Community Promotions across PepsiCo's North American division.  He is known for his visionary leadership and ability to develop new systems and products.  

  

Jimmy Cabrera is ranked among the top motivational speakers in the nation by Market Data Enterprises.  Only 7% of the 5,000 members of the National Speakers Association have reached the prestigious level of Certified Speaking Professional, and Jimmy is one.  Over 1.4 million individuals have experienced his high-energy, motivational, and educational presentations.  Over the past 25 years he has been a regularly featured speaker at our USHLI national conference.
