A couple of our phenomenal honorees will include the Hon. Aida Alvarez, the first Latina to serve in the Cabinet of the President of the United States (Bill Clinton), and the former Secretary of State of New York and currently the executive vice president for Multicultural Markets & Engagement at AARP, the Hon. Lorraine Cortés-Vázquez.

We're going to have five very informative and interactive forums, one of which will be "The Latino Vote in the 2012 Elections" featuring two extremely knowledgeable Latina superstars appearing regularly on political talk shows.  Providing a Republican perspective will be Ms. Leslie Sanchez, and the Democratic perspective will be provided by Ms. Maria Cardona.

Also participating in our conference program will be two of the highest elected Latinas in city or county government in the nation's largest cities and counties.  They are the Hon. Anita Alvarez, the highest elected woman in law enforcement, and the Hon. Susana Mendoza, one of the highest elected women in city government.
