USHLI's Career & College Recruitment Fair, held annually in Chicago and now one of the largest in the nation, will be from 8:00am-1:30pm on February 16, 2012, at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Tower. The event, which will effectively launch our 2012 Student Leadership Series, has become one of the highlights in the academic school year because the more than 3,000 students attending create a synergy that moves them closer to fulfilling their dream of getting some kind of post-secondary education or training. Students from every high school that has attended in the past can attest to the impact of this event. This will be a great opportunity for recruiters like you to connect with students who are ready to decide or begin thinking about where they will pursue their post-secondary education or training.
Immediately after hearing a nationally prominent motivational speaker, all students will have the opportunity to visit with recruiters representing 75-100 vocational and technical schools, community colleges, 4-year academic institutions, and the military. Students will also receive a CD containing a list of scholarships available to students including citizens, legal residents, and undocumented, as well as information on what they need to know about post-secondary education or training. The cost to recruiters is $150.00 which will cover your cost for a 6' tabletop exhibit space with two chairs and a boxed lunch.
