Coming Soon:

Career & College Recruitment Fair

February 16, 2012

USHLI's Career & College Recruitment Fair, held annually in Chicago and now one of the largest in the nation, will be held February 16, 2012, at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Tower. The event, which will effectively launch our 2012 Student Leadership Series, has become one of the highlights in the academic school year because the more than 3,000 students attending create a synergy that moves them closer to fulfilling their dream of getting some kind of post-secondary education or training. Students from every high school that has attended in the past can attest to the impact of this event. Please plan to attend and bring as many students from your school as possible.

In addition to hearing a nationally prominent motivational speaker, students will attend workshops on overcoming challenges to academic success, nutrition and healthy living, leadership development, and financial aid/literacy. They will also have the opportunity to visit with recruiters representing 75-100 vocational and technical schools, community colleges, and 4-year academic institutions in the immediate vicinity and the military. Students will also receive a CD containing a list of scholarships available to students including citizens, legal residents, and undocumented, as well as information on what they need to know about post-secondary education or training. This Career & College Recruitment Fair will serve to ensure that participating students understand the requirements and the process for pursuing the kind of post-secondary education or training of their choice.

As always, admission is free and a complimentary sack lunch will be provided. A promotional flyer and registration form will be sent to you after Thanksgiving.
