For the first time in its 29-year history, the USHLI national conference will host a Webcast presentation from 11:30am-12:30pm Central Time. on Thursday, February 17. The purpose for the Webcast, sponsored by McDonald's, will be to promote scholarships for Latino students. Studies have found that one of the leading deterrents to greater Latino success in higher education is the lack of financial resources and the limited knowledge many prospective college students may have about whatever scholarships are available, where to search for them, or how to apply.
