Carlos Ojeda Jr. has been called one of the most dynamic speakers under 35 in America today. He has worked extensively with high school and college-aged youths, spreading his message of education, leadership, community activism and entrepreneurship. School proved to be a difficult task during his early years. Misunderstanding Carlos socially, economically and culturally, many of his high school teachers told him he would never amount to anything. One teacher once called him, "the greatest piece of garbage he had ever seen." Yet his drive, passion and dreams led him to overcome those obstacles and become the first person in his family to graduate from college with honors. Carlos will address our Young Leaders Breakfast on Saturday, February 19.
