USHLI's Career and College Recruitment Fair, one of the largest in the nation, will kick-off our 29th national conference on Thursday, February 17, and will include a Webcast this year!

Over 3,000 high school students, teachers, and counselors will attend and hear a standing-ovation quality speaker, visit with recruiters representing over 100 colleges and universities from throughout the nation, gather useful information from exhibitors representing corporations, government agencies, labor unions, and community-based organizations, and learn how to finance their post-secondary education or training.

Past Ronald McDonald House Charities/HACER scholarship recipients and recipients of the Dr. Juan Andrade Scholarship for Young Hispanic Leaders will be featured in a scholarship-focused panel that will be Webcast directly from our Career and College Recruitment Fair. The link to the Webcast will be announced in a future e-blast.

Our keynote speaker will be Gabe Salazar, an internationally recognized and highly sought after speaker who has fought off homelessness, hopelessness, and gang influence to become the first in his family to go to college and one of the top young professional speakers in the nation. Gabe visits an average of 150 schools and conferences per year and over 1,000,000 students have been inspired and motivated by his powerful message. He was the keynote speaker for the Army All-American Bowl Motivational Tour and the NCAA College Tip-Off.
