The date is set.  The Senate will vote tomorrow, Saturday, December 18, on the DREAM Act.  The majority of Senators, like the majority of American people, support the DREAM Act.  But the majority is not big enough.  We need 60 votes for cloture and we don't have them yet.  If we can get the 60 votes for cloture, then the Senate can vote on the bill and all we will need is the small majority we know we already have and the DREAM Act will pass.   Please call your Senators today and ask them to vote for cloture so that the Senate can vote for or against the DREAM Act.

          A few Senators are adamantly opposed to the DREAM Act.  Most of the opposition is afraid to vote for or against the DREAM Act.  From all indications the anti-immigrant voices are being heard loud and clear by these hand-wringers who would rather not vote for or against the measure for fear of the consequences.  This tells me that these Senators are hearing from more anti-immigrant callers than they are from us.  There can't be more anti-immigrants than pro-immigrants.  We out-number them.  Don't let them out-work us.  Please call your Senators today.  Tomorrow may be too late.
