The Dream Act: Facts and Numbers



The DREAM Act is expected to be brought up this week for the last time.  If it passes we're in.  If it fails it could be years before it is brought up again.  Listed below are some key Senators whose votes could determine the outcome.  Please call them today if possible.

Also, the Immigration Policy Center has assembled a panel of scholars to participate in a teleconference call this afternoon at 2:00-3:00pm (CST) pertaining to the DREAM Act.   The scholars, representing UC-Irvine, Princeton, University of Washington, and New York University, will discuss research on children who have grown up and been educated in the U.S. without immigration status.  They will also re-issue a letter signed by 250 scholars in support of the DREAM Act.  Michele Waslin from the Immigration Policy Center will serve as moderator.
