 Keepers Dream

Dear Friends,

The 10th annual Keepers of the American Dream awards event is just around the corner!  We hope we can count on your support in honoring this year's outstanding awards recipients!

It is our pleasure to announce that the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute (USHLI) will be the recipient of this year's Golden Door Award, which is presented to an organization for outstanding leadership and contribution to immigrant-related work.

USHLI's mission is to fulfill the promises and principles of democracy by empowering minorities, immigrants and similarly disenfranchised groups, and by maximizing civic awareness and participation in the electoral process through unique programs designed for both students and career professionals.

In its 28 year history, USHLI has developed into one of the most powerful, nationally and internationally recognized Latino organizations in the country.Through organizing and conducting nonpartisan voter registration and leadership development programs in 40 states, USHLI has registered over 2.2 million voters, trained over 250,000 leaders, awarded over $1,000,000 in scholarships and internships, and published over 425 studies on Hispanic demographics.

USHLI is led by
Dr. Juan Andrade, Jr., one of only two Latino recipients in history awarded the Presidential Medal for "performance of exemplary deeds of service for the nation" and "excellence in promoting leadership and civic participation."

We are honored to recognize the work of USHLI and Dr. Andrade!  Take a moment to learn more about them and honor their work by sponsoring Keepers of the American Dream.

Thank you,

Ali Noorani
Executive Director
