| USHLI Offers Candidate Training & Campaign Management School at National Conference |
 A Candidate Training and Campaign Management School will be offered during the USHLI National Conference for persons interested in or thinking about seeking election to public office or learning how to manage a political campaign. The training elements will include organizing a team, fundraising, the recruitment and deployment of volunteers, targeting, issues research, and media, to name a few.
The training will be offered from 3:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, February 17 and from 9:00am-6:00pm on Thursday, February 18. There will be no additional charge for individuals paying the full USHLI conference program registration. The cost for attending only the Candidate Training and Campaign Management School on Wednesday and Thursday is $75 per person. The cost covers snacks, meals and materials.

The Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers is offering USHLI National Conference participants the lowest room rates we've seen in 20 years. The new rate for students is $99 and $115 for non-students. January 29 is the last day to qualify for our discounted rates for conference registration. Our current discounted rates are as follows:
· student groups of 10 - $125 per student
· individual students - $140 per student
· non-student groups of 10 - $150
· individual non-students - $165
