If you are a student who has participated in
FIUTS
programs and believes in our mission to inspire
cross-cultural engagement, we hope you'll
support the
Annual Campaign and ensure that others can
continue to enjoy FIUTS' programs into the
future.
One key way to help is by becoming a student member. Membership fees go
directly to support FIUTS programs, such as
Wednesday Lunch and English Conversation Group.
And members enjoy a variety of benefits as
well. You
can sign up in the FIUTS office or at Wednesday
Lunch!
Another fun way to contribute to FIUTS is to
make a
donation to the FIUTS Class GIft. In the next
few
weeks, the FIUTS Student Board will be
selecting an
item from the office wish list and raising
money from
students to purchase the item for the office.
You'll hear
more about the Class Gift in the coming weeks.

Each year, FIUTS recognizes five individuals or
organizations in our community who exemplify
FIUTS'
mission to inspire lifelong engagement in
experiences that build global understanding.
Please
nominate an individual or organization who you
believe should be recognized by the FIUTS
community!
The two student awards are announced in late May
and presented at FIUTS Global Gala; Community
Awards are presented in the fall at
International
Welcome Night.

Forty-eight fifth- and sixth-grade students
from White
Center Heights Elementary visited the UW
campus to
meet international students from around the
world
through the Pen Pal Program.
This annual program connects UW
internationals with
local K-12 students for an eight-week period
of e-mail
exchanges which culminates in a face-to-face
meeting at a FIUTS Wednesday Lunch.

Thinking of buying or selling a home? Work
with Coldwell
Banker Bain agents Kim V. Colaprete and Chavi M.
Hohm and support FIUTS at the same time. Because
of their experiences as FIUTS Hosts, Kim
and Chavi have selected FIUTS as a
Community
Partnership recipient.
Coldwell Banker Bain Associates (CBBA)
established the Community Partnership Program
as a way for the company and its agents to
give back to non-profit organizations serving
our communities and the arts. Since its
conception, CBBA agents have donated over
$1,000,000 to non-profit organizations in and
around Seattle and the Puget Sound
region.
