| Chamber Awards Three Scholarships |
This year the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce is proud to award three scholarships of $750 each to Oak Ridge or Ponderosa graduates who plan to continue their education at a university, college or technical school.
The scholarships are funded through generous donations from the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce members by buying raffle tickets at Chamber Mixers.
The scholarships are based on 50% Community Service, 15% Work Experience and Extra Curricular Activities, and 10% Scholastic GPA and Financial Need.
The Chamber congratulates the following scholarship recipients and wishes them much success: Lauren Nager, Kayla Swank, and Lena Buckendorf.
We just added another way to raise money for the scholarship program! Enjoy El Dorado Musical Theatre's summer productions this year and help raise money for the Chamber's scholarship fund. Buy your tickets to "Cinderella" or "Crazy For You" online and enter coupon code: EDHCOC. 25% of the proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund.
