Tour participants are looking to gain valuable feedback on what organizations like about doing business in El Dorado Hills, as well as areas for improvement. For more than 30 years Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Dorado County has helped our most vulnerable children through the power of a relationship with a Big Brother or Big Sister, giving kids the support and care they need to make good choices that will lead to a future filled with hope.
And not just hope, but real change. An independent research group found that Big Brothers and Big Sisters are truly changing their Little Brothers' and Little Sisters' lives. Littles are half as likely to use drugs or skip school. They avoid violence and develop stronger relationships with their families.
In El Dorado Hills alone there are currently more than 50 one-to-one mentoring relationships that are thriving and giving new hope for kids that are struggling emotionally, socially or academically. PG&E Seeks Approval to Lower Electric Rates for Customers

Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) asked the California Public Utilities Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to approve proposals that would reduce residential electric rates by 2.5% from March 1 levels beginning June 1.
