Recruiting Community Teams for Bowl-a-thon
to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters on May 7, 2010
 
Local businesses and individuals can participate by forming a four-member bowling team! Bowling skills are not required!  Prior to the bowling party, each team member collects $100 or more in pledges to support mentoring programs for at-risk youth.

Vital Assets Press Release
El Dorado County is reaching out to businesses to assist them with their business needs.

 

With the current economic climate, the County recognizes that local businesses are struggling to keep their doors open.  In response to this, the County is developing several projects to help, including having representatives visit businesses to provide information on free or low cost services, resources, and tools.  These may include technical assistance to help prevent closure or layoffs, financial assistance with employee salaries, workshops on various topics, resource guides, and consultation in areas such as loans, human resources, business management, and more.  The type of service provided may be modified to meet the needs of the businesses.

Art on the Boulevard is presented by The El Dorado Hills Town Center

This is a  free event to view works of original art from local and regional artists. The Town Center and its merchants are thrilled to help support these artists and showcase their work. More than 20 artists will be on hand to display their artistry and answer your questions.
