FALL FESTIVAL KUDOS! 
Thank you, TCS Community, for a fantastic Fall Festival on Sunday! Special thanks to the Parent Association, all of our Room Parents, and our parent and teacher volunteers.
Additional thanks to everyone who made toy donations to Fall Festival. The leftover toys from the prize booth will be donated later this week to Rady Children's Hospital.
And finally, EXTRA BIG thanks to event co-chairs Amy Conover and Danielle Shapero-Rudolph for making the event run so smoothly and for making it a huge success. Bravo! We all had a blast.

Annual Fund Begins!
The 2009-10 TCS Annual Fund has launched! We invite every family to contribute to the Annual Fund, which supports the faculty, staff and programs that makes TCS such an incredible school. Together, we strive to raise $150,000 to support the school's current operating budget and achieve 100% participation from our community. Each classroom that reaches 100% participation will have a special celebration later in the year.

Kids' Club Childcare During TCS Parent Teacher Conferences Schedule for Parent Teacher Conference Days: October 28-29
- No school for toddlers through seventh grade.
- Kids' Club will be available for preschool through seventh grade students from 7:00AM-6:00PM
- Friday, October 30 is a Professional Development day. There will be no school and no Kids' Club.
Additional Kids' Club Information:
There is no charge for Kids' Club during your conference. For childcare outside of your scheduled conference, regular Kids' Club rates apply. Parents dropping off a child without a reserved space will be charged an additional $50 fee on top of regular Kids' Club rates.

Children's Poet Laureate at TCS
Jack Prelutsky,the United States Children's Poet Laureate and author of "Behold the Bold Umbrellaphant" will be at TCS on Friday, November 6th at 9 AM in the auditorium for a book and poetry reading.
Please join us for this rare opportunity to meet one of the best-loved children's poets of our time. All are welcome to this reading. |
