Spring Newsletter 2011 |
A Message From Your ACHE of Massachusetts President
Dear ACHE of Massachusetts Members,
On May 10, 2011 we conducted our 2011 Annual Spring Conference entitled Clinical Integration and Physician Alignment: ACOs and Successful Responses to Healthcare Payment Reform Initiatives.
The topic and presentations were timely and pertinent to the challenge we all face with Healthcare Reform in today's business environment. The Program Committee orchestrated a terrific slate of speakers and panelists for the conference. Great job done by the Program Committee as was evidenced by a record attendance of 250 and positive feedback received by the participants. Joan Clifford won the $50 gift certificate for filling out our program evaluation.
We were honored this year to have Lois Kinzer join us for the presentation of the David M. Kinzer Scholarship to Jenni Bendfeldt, Suffolk University and Alex Schwarzer, Boston University. The Scholarship Awards symbolize the enduring legacy of the Kinzer's shared leadership in healthcare in the Commonwealth.
Now is the perfect time to apply to become a fellow with our Board of Governors exam fee waiver offer (a savings of $200) available through June 30, 2011.
Louise Clough of Covenant Health Systems won the gift certificate for filling out the member survey in early March. Thank you to all those who took the time to provide us with feedback.
William P. Fleming, FACHE |
