Dear Friends,
|
Meet the
Center Stage Artists!
|
We are just back from Arts Presenters (APAP) the annual New York City-based bonanza of opportunities to see and share work with colleagues from across the U.S. NEFA staff led or participated in conference sessions on our dance, theater, and international exchange programs, and convened funders of Center StageSM - including the U.S. Department of State, the Robert Sterling Clark Foundation, the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art, and the Asian Cultural Council - for updates on the U.S. tours of artists from Haiti, Indonesia, and Pakistan coming in summer/fall 2012.
A huge THANK YOU to our supporters who contributed to NEFA's annual fund this year - we met a very generous board member's challenge to raise new and increased gifts, and exceeded our 35 th anniversary goal. If you have not yet made a gift and would like to, it's as easy as clicking donate! Your support means so much. Read on for more news, and be sure to view our 2011 Annual Report, a special edition celebrating NEFA's 35 th year. Let us know if you'd like a copy sent to you.
Happy New Year,
Rebecca Blunk
Executive Director
