Commercial SIP projects
Premier Building Systems SIPs (structural insulated panels) have been used in many commercial applications including schools and wineries. Two projects we have worked on recently are featured here, a health center and a tech center. SIPs offer both substantial building time & life-cycle energy costs savings, and often both by more than 60% of standard expenditures. SIPs have been used in a myriad of building applications and have a proven track record.
Premier Building Systems offers an AIA approved continuing education program about SIPs that qualifies for 1 HSW credit. As a Premier distributor Pacific Post & Beam sells and installs SIPs and provides technical support for design and installation by others.

The Rosetta project, across from the San Luis Obispo airport, incorporates Premier SIPcurtain walls on a steel frame building, creating a quick energy efficient enclosure. The building is approximately 50,000 square feet with 16,000 square feet of SIP walls. It's currently under construction. The SIPs were delivered August 27th. SIPs supplied by Pacific Post & Beam.

The Community Health Center is under construction in Nipomo, Ca. It incorporates 6000 square feet of Premier SIP roof panels over timber trusses. The SIPs were fabricated in the Pacific Post & Beam shop and installed in July 2012. Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc. (CHC) is a non-profit network of community health centers serving the residents of California's Central Coast.
