Keeping In Touch
Season's Greetings
One night, long ago, a child was born in a stable in Bethlehem. It was cold that night, and he was wrapped in swaddling clothes to keep him warm. With the breath of the cattle in the stable, that little child was kept warm and safe, and survived that cold night. The stars shone bright, and the animals kept him warm and safe. The shepherds came with their lambs, sheep and dogs, the wise men with their gifts and camels.
The cattle and horses in the stable helped to keep baby Jesus warm and safe. So, hundreds of years ago the animals looked after the baby Jesus, and now in return, we should look after the animals.
Take care of them and let us be their voice: for all the animals. It is wrong if animals suffer for our celebrations.
For our brothers and sisters in the animal kingdom:
May God grant them good health and happiness.
Happy Christmas from Rosina, and the Team of Animal Talk - Vicky, Joyce; and from our ambassadors Sir Malachite, Sir Smoky Quartz and Lady Strawberry Quartz
