The deadline for submissions is May 1, 2012. Residencies are scheduled to take place between February 11 and August 8, 2013.
 Through residencies and conferences, the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center in Northern Italy supports innovations that change the way we address complex global issues. Here, people of diverse expertise and backgrounds come together in a thought-provoking, creative, collegial environment that helps create change and impact a wide range of world issues.

Whitaker Grantee Enrichment Seminar
IIE Europe will organize the Third Annual Whitaker Grantee Enrichment Seminar in Prague, April 10-14, 2012.
The Whitaker International Fellows and Scholars Program which IIE administers on behalf of the Whitaker Foundation, sends emerging leaders in U.S. biomedical engineering (or bioengineering) to undertake a self-designed project at top research institutions around the world.
Thirty-five Scholars and Fellows will gather in Prague to present their research projects, network, and enjoy cultural activities and sightseeing.
