Important Notice for Businesses Regarding .XXX Domains
Very soon, adult entertainment sites begin to migrate to .xxx instead of .com. This will hopefully clean up the .com environment a bit as adult related sites begin to make the switch over to the .xxx side of things. However, this change brings up some considerations for regular companies (i.e. somebody snatches up a domain that looks like this www.yourcompanyname.xxx) which brings up major PR concerns.
The ICM Registry understands that any business has stakes in securing those domains. Under an initiative called "Wake up to the Sunrise" ICM is offering businesses the opportunity to grab corresponding .xxx domains in order to prevent others from securing them and lead people to sites they probably don't want to see. Learn more at http://www.icmregistry.com/launch/
