Dear Reader,
Winter solstice was a few weeks ago and Minnesota is enjoying more hours of sunlight every day now. Unfortunately, this does not mean there are more hours in a day! That is why this issue focuses on getting more out of machining hours. Molded Products, Inc. shares how they get more out of their machining and programming for complex molds and parts machined from hard-to-machine materials. Machine More Sides with Single Setup examines how horizontal machining centers fiercely compete by machining multiple sides with just one setup. Explore how the new 8200 Control provides advanced processing speeds to support high speed and multi-axis machining and learn how to personalize your 8200 CNC Screen. We have machines ready to deliver. Give us a call, or email, to discuss your needs. Best Regards,
John Fabel

How It Works
| | Milltronics 8200 Series CNC Control
The Milltronics 8200 Series CNC has all of the user-friendly features Milltronics CNC controls are known for and more: compatibility with all G & M Code programs plus macro programming, auto routines, trig help, and all the benefits of conversational programming. The 8200 CNC has visual aids while programming conversationally. This is helpful for new programmers to help determine what is being prompted for the fields within a conversational event. The new "Mill Away" function has been added for mid-program offset adjustment; especially helpful for 3D contouring operations in mold making. Take a closer look.

Product Focus
| | | Machine More Sides with Single Setup
Consider the tremendous competitive advantages possible with horizontal machining centers. With rotary tables or indexing tombstones, multi-sided machining becomes possible with one setup. Huge benefits can be realized with reduced cycle time and part integrity improvements. Operator time utilization
is better too.
Besides that, some workpieces are just better suited to horizontal machining. Chip relief for deep hole drilling and cavity milling can be significantly improved. Milltronics HM20 and HM35 models are designed for heavier milling performance than rotary type pallet changer machines.
